Question by DonteQ: I have decided to go into Naturopathic Medicine, will I be able to have a job after I graduate?
I have always wanted to be a doctor but I never thought about Naturopathic medicine until recently. My advisor is worried that I will have trouble getting employment after graduation as opposed to graduates of podiatry, allopathic or osteopathic medicine. Is he correct? Should I be worried about being employed after I graduate?

I would recommend asking at least 10 strangers on the street if they have ever gone to a naturopathic physician. If you get a lot of no’s, perhaps you should choose a different profession.
Also, I could be wrong, but I believe most NDs are self-employed. So if you want to be “employed” as an ND, you’ll probably have to create your own business.
