  1. I like to freeze them in ice cube trays.. with either just water or olive oil. the herbs however will turn black.. so that is why may like to just dry them ..

  2. Great looking plants Diane. Do you sell any of your excess dried herbs? I enjoy your posts on the BG forum. Mike- ma

  3. Continued- I just got some F40T12. It says 3150 lumens and color temp 4100k. Is this good? The lite actually looks a bit green compared to the others. Your input would be appreciated. The new fixtures at the store this year are for T8 bulbs. I hear T8 and T5 bulbs. It is confusing. SOS

  4. thanks, I use 2-40 watt warm lights sometimes cool lights, at least 3000 lumens ea , these are the standard shop lights.. these are not expensive and I buy them in bulk.. this will hopefully give you enough light it works pretty well for me..

  6. Good vid! Just started some herbs. First time Got a couple heat pads this year. I am still having some difficulty knowing what fluoresent lights to use. Last year I got aquariam lites, but they are expensive.

  7. They are looking awesome, Diane! I’m actually starting a few herbs by my window, indoors. I’ll be making a video once they sprout. I don’t have grow lights so I’m depending on natural sunlight. I hope it works. :)

  8. I grew cinnamon basil this past year. It’s true to it’s name but I didn’t know what to do with it. Any suggestions? I didn’t use it and it went to seed.
