  1. Hi Sharon,
I live in Los Angeles, but a quick search showed Akin’s Natural Foods Market (417-887-5985) & Mama Jean’s Natural Market (417-831-5229) as two places that might carry essential oils. I usually order mine online from Mountain Rose Herbs as they have great prices and virtually all of their oils are organic. I can’t include URLs; but you can do a quick google search and find them.

    Hope that helps,

  2. It really depends on the base oils used and how the blend is stored. The two used in this video (Jojoba & Apricot Kernel Oil) both have a usable shelf-life of 2 years. Essential oils are degraded by sunlight, heat, oxygen, and water. Storing the blend in an air-tight colored glass bottle is recommended. If you live in an area where extreme heat is an issue, go ahead and store it in the fridge. Hope that helps!

  3. Thank you so much for posting! I would love to make it. I’ve been looking for good natural alternatives to using conventional lotion, which usually contains petroleum products, which are so bad for us.

Hi We asked our expert Noelle Katai about alternatives to Neroli essential oil and she recommended Red Mandarin, Geranium and Palmarosa.

These essential oils are similar to Neroli in terms of scent and properties but tend to be less expensive.

    Hope this helps!
